The Safegard Group, Inc. has been awarded a 2019 Healthiest Employer honor by The Philadelphia Business Journal. As the highest rated extra small company (2-99 employees), The Safegard Group, Inc. was evaluated via an online assessment and then received a Healthiest Employer Index (HEI) on a 1-100 scale. Each employer was evaluated in six main areas: Vision, Culture/Engagement, Learning, Expertise, Metrics, and Technology.
“At Safegard, we invest heavily in our employees financially and in their well-being,” said Michael Hermansen, Director of Operations. Although the company has already found great success in providing an on-site personal trainer and full medical, dental, and vision coverage for all employees, it consistently seeks new ways to adapt and improve its wellness programs to be better suited for all.
