Please join me in welcoming Matthew Holden to The Safegard Group! Today, Matt began his full-time position with us as a Business Development Executive where he will be primarily responsible for the marketing, consulting, servicing and production of accounts in the Commercial Brokerage Division. We are very confident in Matt’s abilities and look forward to him helping us continue the growth of The Safegard Group.
About Matthew Holden
Matthew Holden joined The Safegard Group in March 2017. As a Business Development Executive, Matt is responsible for the marketing, consulting, servicing and production of accounts in the Commercial Brokerage Division.
Prior to working at The Safegard Group, Matt was with The Graham Company as a Producer, where we was responsible for business development, auditing prospective clients’ existing insurance programs, initial insurance program architecture and implementation, issue resolution and leadership of client service teams. Additionally, Matt spent seven years at Covidien, a leading medical device manufacturer. As an Account Manager, Matt was responsible for the largest book of business in the country and was an integral part of growing Covidien’s Minimally Invasive Surgical customer base. He was recognized with numerous awards during his tenure, including the 2012 Account Manager of the Year, and was a part of their Executive Leadership Development program. His prior employment includes sales and sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility during his seven years with Newell Rubbermaid.
Matt graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Marketing and was a four year member of Saint Joseph’s soccer team.
Currently, Matt is a resident of Glenside, PA, where he lives with his wife and three boys. He spends any free time golfing if he is not coaching his 3 boys in soccer, basketball, or baseball.
